ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

The department of dentistry at GMC Handwara is a fully equipped department with essential facilities to provide comprehensive care to the patients.
Department caters good number of patients for consultation as well as for various minor and major surgical procedures and endodontic procedures.

OBJECTIVES OF OUR DEPARTMENT:

To provide high quality dental care and research.
To focus on prevention of dental diseases by promoting good oral hygiene maintenance practices through awareness of common masses.
To ensure that treatment adheres to the highest standards of safety and sterilization.

MISSION & VISION:

Our mission is to reduce the prevalence of dental diseases through awareness of common people.
Encourage people to come up for routine dental checkups which will help to treat the disease at its earliest stage.
Emphasise the importance of good oral hygiene .
To provide contribute to the scientific community by providing good quality dental and oral research.
To achieve the ultimate goal of healthy teeth and pleasing and balanced facial profile for everyone.
To instill the importance of good oral hygiene among people.
Control and prevention of dental diseases by educating people and motivating them to follow basic dental hygiene.
